Post 1 – Infinite Ignorance

We live in an age that worships certainty. Everyone wants to be the one who’s “right.”

But Karl Popper reminded us that in our infinite ignorance, we are all equal. It’s a truth that humbles kings and professors alike: there is no final authority on everything.

The universe of knowledge is infinite; each of us carries only a grain of sand from its shore. The wise don’t boast about what they know--they marvel at what remains unknown.

Humility isn’t a lack of confidence; it’s respect for the scale of the mystery. If we remembered that, arguments would cool and conversations would grow. We’d listen not to win, but to learn.

In our infinite ignorance we find equality--and perhaps, peace.
