Understanding Evil

After writing about the Pull Toward Barbarism, I wanted to look deeper into the pattern behind it -- the way cruelty, fear, and certainty keep reappearing across history. This series explores that pattern we call evil -- not as myth, but as a force that emerges whenever empathy fails.

    Technology mirrors the hands that shape it. If we teach empathy and fairness, it can help strengthen civilization's immune system.
